JAKARTA - Xiaomi, a leading technology company, is getting closer to the launch of its first electric car scheduled for 2024. No wonder enthusiasm for this car is growing rapidly, with various teasers and information about its features that continue to emerge.

Whereas previously, many reports said Xiaomi might reveal its electric car before the end of this year, along with the launch of their latest flagship smartphone.

Reporting from the Gizmochina page, Sunday, October 1, this electric car with the MS11 code will have the Apple CarPlay feature, similar to many modern cars today. This feature allows users to connect their iPhone to the car infotainment screen, so they can control many smartphone applications directly from the car screen without having to hold a cellphone.

Not only that, there is another interesting feature, namely the presence of Siri's voice assistant when connecting the phone to CarPlay, which will provide extra convenience for users. In addition, the owner of this car will also be able to enjoy Bluetooth features that have passed the Technology Alliance SIGN certification, which will provide a lot of information about configurations.

For additional information, MS11 will be powered by Qualcomm's automotive chipset, Snapdragon 8295, which is expected to provide high performance. Rumors also say that the car will use a 101 kWh battery and support fast charging with a high voltage of 800 V.

For pricing matters, it is estimated that Xiaomi will sell this car with a price range of between 260,000 yuan and 350,000 yuan (around Rp561 million to Rp755 million).
