Seres E1: Affordable Electric Car with Advanced Features

JAKARTA - PT Sokonindo Automobile, as the holder of the DFSK and Seres brands, has successfully introduced the Seres E1 to the Indonesian public, adding to the liveliness of the electric vehicle market at an affordable price.

Seres E1 was intensively introduced to the Indonesian people to support urban mobility. The price for the Seres E1 has been announced at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023, with type B priced at IDR 189 million, while type L has a price of IDR 219 million.

Even though it has an affordable price, the Seres E1 promises a number of advanced features for customer travel comfort.

"We present the Seres E1 with prices starting at IDR 180 million, but consumers will still get a variety of advanced features to make their mobility safe, comfortable and enjoyable," said Achmad Rofiqi, Head of Marketing for PT Sokonindo Automobile, Friday, September 8.

The Seres E1 has a compact design with dimensions of 3,030 mm (length), 1,495 mm (width), 1,640 mm (height), and a wheelbase of 1,960 mm. This car also has a ground clearance of 135 mm.

Despite its understated appearance, the Seres E1 has eye-catching LED DRLs on the front and rear and stylish 13-inch alloy wheels.

The Seres E1's cabin is designed with a minimalist concept, equipped with a wood-accented instrument panel, 7-inch instrument cluster and 8.8-inch head unit.

Advanced features include Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Hill Hold Control, parking camera, cruise control, driving modes such as Eco and Sport, Seat Belt Reminder, Pedestrian Warning Sound, Isofix, Event Data Recording System, Charging Status Display, and various other interesting features.

Seres E1 Type L, the highest variant, even offers Electronic Stability Control and Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, which helps users in operating this car.

To increase safety, Seres provides a well-designed battery safety system, including Collision Power Failure Protection, Battery System Thermal Management, Charging Port Cover Reminder, and High Voltage Safety Monitoring.

The Seres E1 battery is IP67 certified, which means it is waterproof when going through puddles.

The initial variant of the E1, Type B, is equipped with a 13.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery which can cover a distance of up to 180 km and can be charged from 10 to 90 percent in 3.5 hours with a Type 2 AC socket. This type has a 33 power motor. hp and 100 Nm of torque.

The highest variant, Type L, is equipped with a 16.8 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery which has a range of up to 220 km. Charging from 10 to 90 percent with AC Type 2 takes 4 hours. This type has a drive motor with 40 hp of power and 100 Nm of torque.

The Seres E1 provides an attractive option for consumers looking for an affordable electric vehicle with advanced features for everyday mobility.
