Alfa Romeo Will Soon Launch The Impressive New Supercar

JAKARTA - Alfa Romeo, an Italian car company, has announced its ambitious plans to launch an entire suite of fully electric cars by 2027.

However, before achieving this target, Alfa Romeo plans to launch a new supercar that will be a bridge between the past of their internal combustion engine and the future of electric cars, meaning it could be a type of hybrid that offers cars with both types of machines.

The inaugural launch of this new car will take place at the Alfa Romeo Museum in Milan on August 30. It is interesting to wait for an official announcement regarding the technical specifications and design of this new Alfa Romeo supercar at this launch event.

Several teaser images have previously hinted that the new car will be named '6C', although there is still a possibility that it will follow in the footsteps of their famous historical car, namely '33', inspired by 33 Stradale.

In addition to the plan to launch this super car, Alfa Romeo is also developing a powerful sports car project that will be present in 2023. Imparato has previously provided clues about this particular sports car project.

'Alfa Romeo is synonymous with the ferocity of the sport. You will see something sporty in 2023. I consider two scenarios: fully electric or fully internal combustion engine (ICE). I can tell you that this car will be very attractive, very expensive, and very exclusive. We will probably offer some interesting proposals that are not always fully electric in the next two years," he said, quoted by Auto Express, July 24.

Therefore, this new sports car may be powered by an evolution version of the 2.9 liter twin-turbo V6 engine used in Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio's performance models. Another alternative is using the Nettuno V6 machine from another Stellantis group member, Maserati, which is used in the super MC20 car.

Through these ambitious steps, Alfa Romeo strives to maintain his iconic image as a tough sports car manufacturer, while also adapting to future trends towards environmentally friendly mobility.
