Jokowi denies being a foreign agent in today's history, March 23, 2019

JAKARTA - History today, seven years ago, March 23, 2019, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) denied that he was part of foreign henchmen. He emphasized that the hoax attack was cruel. He will no longer be silent. Jokowi is ready to fight all kinds of hoaxes and slander.

Previously, the heat of the 2019 presidential election was a common secret. The two camps between Jokowi and Prabowo Subianto began to attack each other. Jokowi also got the apes. He was considered anti-Islamic, a sympathizer of the Indonesian Communist Party (PKI), to a foreign agent.

Jokowi and Prabowo were reunited as opponents in the 2019 presidential election. Jokowi, who was once able to defeat Prabowo, is confident that he can be re-elected as President of Indonesia. However, Prabowo's camp will not let Jokowi win easily like the 2014 presidential election.

They are confident they can defeat Jokowi. This belief is considered reasonable. Prabowo himself sees Jokowi's performance as the leader of Indonesia as not going well. Instead of increasing the aspirations of the Indonesian people, Jokowi is considered to have many hardships for the people.

Jokowi is also considered no more than a foreign agent. This condition is because many foreign investors easily enter Indonesia. As a result, the presence of foreign forces in Indonesia brings Indonesia's economy weaker than other Asian countries.

This condition is because many of Indonesia's wealth are actually taken abroad. Other people who enjoy it, the Indonesian people themselves have to scratch their heads. Jokowi's camp also responded. Jokowi is not considered a foreign agent.

Jokowi is considered a force capable of reclaiming Indonesia's resources that were previously managed by foreign parties. Take the management of the Mahakam Block, the Rokan Block, and Freeport.

Jokowi's camp considers this an achievement. Jokowi's camp even released a new accusation. They accused Prabowo of being a foreign agent. Moreover, Prabowo's camp is considered to use foreign political consultants.

Later, the problem split Jokowi's supporters. Those who believe Jokowi and those who believe Jokowi is a foreign agent.

"People who had previously believed in Jokowi, could have changed. For example, supporters who are still half-hearted, the tendency to shift their choices is because they see Jokowi's attitude. So if the challenger camp says the gap between Prabowo and Jokowi is getting thinner, it could be like this," said political observer, Aditya Perdana, as quoted by BBC Indonesia, February 5, 2019.

The issue of foreign agents even reached Jokowi. He began to feel uncomfortable with the issue of being a foreign agent on March 23, 2019. Jokowi then dismissed the notion that he was a foreign agent. He considered the news circulating to be slander and hoaxes.

Jokowi also will not let the issue develop. He promised to fight anyone who spreads the issue that he is a foreign agent. He also fights against people who mention being a PKI sympathizer to anti-Islam.

"PKI, foreign agents, anti-Islam, anti-ulama, will ban the azan if they become President, will remove religious lessons. That's just a part of the slander and hoax attacks aimed at me and can be easily found on social media."

But today I say: such slander and hoaxes, I will fight!" said Jokowi as quoted in his Instagram account @jokowi, March 23, 2019.
