Recently Jokowi's power has become commonplace. Jokowi's government actually wants to weaken the KPK. The duties of the KPK as eradicating corruption want to be limited. The discourse is present in the government's plan to revise the KPK Law.

The KPK is no longer a state tool against corruptors. However, the KPK was created to secure certain groups. This condition made students furious. They consider corruption an extraordinary crime.

The action also protested the revision and formation of other laws that have the potential to harm the people.
