MUI Urges The Community To Pray Magically For BJ Habibie In Today's Memory, September 11, 2019

JAKARTA Memories of today, six years ago, September 11, 2019, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) appealed to the public to pray for the death of the former President of Indonesia, Bacharuddin Jusuf Habibie. The appeal was made so that the Indonesian people would pray for Habibie.

The goal is so that Habibie can get grace and forgiveness from the Creator. Previously, Habibie was known as an outstanding national figure. His breakthrough during his time as a minister to the President of Indonesia brought admiration. He also continues to support the next Indonesian leader.

No one doubts Habibie's intelligence. This condition made President Suharto interested in making Habibie an important person in Indonesia. Habibie was appointed Minister of Research and Technology from 1978.

This position made Habibie increase the research climate and improve technology development in Indonesia. Habibie is also one of the brains who emphasizes that Indonesia can build its own aircraft. This success made him popular throughout Indonesia.

Habibie became the idol of Indonesian children in the New Order era (Orde). Everything almost has the same aspiration, which is to be like Habibie. Even fate did not only make him take care of research and technology matters. Later he became Vice President of Indonesia.

Then, he was asked to be the new President of Indonesia in 1998. Habibie actually has a big task. He had to think about the whole of Indonesia. Habibie tried to fight to return the rupiah exchange rate and succeeded.

His leadership as President was short. However, it had a big impact. Habibie did not then choose to leave the world of Indonesian politics. He continues to actively provide input and criticism to Indonesian leaders, from the Gus Dur era to Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

His desire to share experiences is very strong. However, because of the reduced age and health complications of the activity. Lately, his health began to worsen in 2019. The most avoided news that Habibie died was present on September 11, 2019.

"Please allow me on behalf of all Indonesian people with the government to express my deep sorrow, express my deep condolences for the passing to Rahmatullah Mr. Prof. BJ Habibie, earlier at 18.05 at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital".

"Mr. Habibie, we know him as a world-class scientist, as well as the Father of Indonesian Technology, and he is the third President of the Republic of Indonesia. He passed away to Rahmatullah at the age of 83, and later from Gatot Soebroto Hospital he will be taken to his funeral home in Kuningan," Jokowi explained as quoted on the Cabinet Secretariat website, September 11, 2019.

MUI also expressed its condolences. The ulama organization also prayed for Habibie's good deeds to be accepted by the Creator. This condition prompted the MUI to appeal to the community to perform the occult prayer on September 11, 2019.

The appeal was so that Habibie would get his grace and be exposed to his grave and go to heaven. MUI considers Habibie a national figure who must receive a big award. This condition is because of his services for the nation and a big country.

"The next day, after Friday prayers on September 13, we will be able to perform occult prayers in all mosques in Indonesia to pray for him, the late BJ Habibie," said Deputy Secretary General of MUI, Nadjamuddin Ramly as quoted by the Antara page, September 11, 2019.
