Jokowi was also paired with Jusuf Kalla (JK) against Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa.

Jokowi's presence in the national political map brought a stir. He is considered successful as Mayor of Solo from the 2005-2012 era. He is also considered successful as Governor of DKI Jakarta from the 2012-2014 era. Its simplicity is an attraction. This condition made Jokowi predicted to participate in the high-level political contestation: the presidential election.

The Jokowi-JK camp is indeed happy not to play with the quick count results. However, this did not make Jokowi volunteers in various regions of Nusantara Jumawa. They are still waiting for the official KPK count results. Jokowi's volunteers also made a vow to shave their hair if Jokowi officially wins.

The KPK's quick count was announced on July 22, 2014. As a result, Jokowi-JK dominated with 53.15 percent, while Prabowo-Hatta only got 46.85 percent. This condition was greeted with a commotion by volunteers and Jokowi's supporters with nodes to mass hair.

As a result, Jokowi officially became the elected President of Indonesia. The shaving action took place on the same day in various regions in the archipelago, on the island of Java to outside Java.

Volunteers consider the shaving action to be a form of outburst of happiness over Jokowi's victory. This condition made Jokowi's campaign team grateful for the support of volunteers in the regions.
