Anwar Usman Married Idayati Jokowi's Sister In Today's Memory, May 26, 2022

JAKARTA Memories of today, three years ago, May 26, 2022, the Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court (MK), Anwar Usman is legally the brother-in-law of the President, Joko Widodo (Jokowi). The narrative occurred because Anwar officially edited Jokowi's younger brother, Idayati. The marriage brought a stir because it was full of political interests.

Previously, Anwar was known as a teacher who swerved to the legal world. His career in the legal world is smooth. He was able to adapt well. He once served as a Constitutional Justice. At its peak, he was elected as Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.

Anwar Usman was once known as an honorary teacher. The man who was born in Bima, December 31, 1956, wanted to educate the nation's children. However, Anwar had the opportunity to deepen other knowledge. He had the opportunity to study at the Islamic University of Jakarta.

Anwar instead chose to continue his education to the Faculty of Law, not education. This condition is because the law is a new world for him. He graduated in 1984. He then firmly swerved from teacher to law.

His career was successful. He served at the Supreme Court (MA), from being Assistant Supreme Court Justice to the Head of the Personnel Bureau from 1997 to 2006. He was also appointed as a Judge at the Jakarta High Court.

Recently, Anwar has started to show an interest in the world of the constitution. He has followed a lot of developments related to the Constitutional Court. The pinnacle of being loved by scholars arrived. Anwar was able to enter as a Constitutional Justice from 2011.

This position made him learn a lot from national legal figures. His extension is worrying. He was once Deputy Chair of the Constitutional Court. He then also tasted the position of Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court from 2018. This position made him one of the famous officials in Indonesia.

He was also rumored to be close to the circle of power. This condition can be seen because Anwar is considered close to Jokowi's younger brother, Idayati. Moreover, the issue is Anwar-Idayati to a serious stage: the level of marriage. Even though the two of them only met in 2022. The application procession was held on March 12, 2022.

The day you have been waiting for has arrived. Anwar and Idayati got married on May 26, 2022. The wedding took place at Graha Saba Buana, Solo. The second wedding was greeted with great fanfare. Finally, Anwar was legally Jokowi's brother-in-law.

Invited guests who come are piled up. The ranks of government are certainly present, from officials to politicians. In fact, the famous cleric, Nasaruddin Umar, also came and delivered a sermon. He advised that their marriage be a source of happiness.

"Marriage is to bring together different ones, such as Allah bringing together the full names. Marriage gives birth to happiness, but happiness there are two. Namely happiness which is a golden (giving) from above and happiness created by our own social creation (social creation)," said Nasaruddin Umar as quoted on the detik.com page, May 26, 2022.

However, the marriage was not only responded to happily. Many also consider the marriage between Anwar and Idayati to be fibered with political interests. Andil Anwar as Jokowi's brother-in-law is considered to have disrupted the independence of his work as Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court.
