Ichon Badguitar X Uchin Visualizes Step Song In 3 Episode Short Film Format

Jakarta - A short film titled Step was officially released on Friday through the video-sharing platform YouTube. This work, which is packaged as a trilogy, is a visual presentation that complements the previously released single with the same title by Ichon Badguitar X Uchin Stallion.

Ichon Badguitar said that the short film Steps he directed was divided into three episodes due to the limited duration which did not adequately describe the message content when packaged in one film.

"It's not enough to describe a wide range of meanings for the song Step, if it's only in 4 minutes," said Ichon Badguitar in a written statement received by the editors, Sunday, October 17.

"Finally it was decided to divide it into three episodes. And this is also the result of being too eager to write the script and plot the story," he said.

Tembang Step is the work and project of Ichon Badguitar's music outside the band he is in charge of. In the lyrics, this song raises a true story about friendship that is written as it is.

The guitarist for the band The Flash from Yogyakarta explained that the message in the film was made to broaden the meaning of the lyrics in the song Step which was released with his best friend, Uchin who is the vocalist of the band Stallion.

However, the idea and inspiration for the story in the film is also taken from a true story like the lyrics in the song Step.

"This expands the strength of the song's theme to keep going, keep fighting it. About the struggles and toughness that must be faced in life in any case," said Ichon Badguitar.

The production process for the film Step was carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic and was entirely carried out in the city of Yogyakarta. In this project, Ichon as the director appointed Salta and Dobleh to act as the main actors.

The premiere episode of Ichon Badguitar's film Step was launched on Friday afternoon, October 15 through Ichon Badguitar's YouTube channel and can be watched starting at 16.00 WIB.

While the next two episodes will be released every Friday for the next two weeks.
