Calling An Old Man Who Follows Him Beggar, Baim Wong Strongly Protested By Netizens

JAKARTA - Baim Wong's action who often helps people, often gets a lot of praise from netizens. Even Baim Wong's content often contains alms and helping people in need. However, this time Baim was able to protest citizens because of similar content.

Baim Wong seemed to scold an old man for being considered begging. He was annoyed that the man had followed him for miles. Baim said he objected because he thought the old man was begging for money.

The old man whose face was clearly visible tried to explain and opened his bag, but Baim hastily interrupted and left.

"Then what does it have to do with chasing after me for money. What are you doing following me until how many kilos, don't be begging like that," continued Baim Wong.

Not only that, Baim Wong then saw an ojol driver who was hanging out in front of his house. Baim called them and distributed the money in front of the old man.

"Be like him, he's working. Sir, here, sir. He's here for work, not begging. I give money if you work. I give money for work," said Baim Wong while distributing money to ojol drivers.

"He's work, I give money, don't beg. When you're begging, it's just a shame, don't chase after me asking for money," continued Baim.

Baim then got on his motorbike and was about to put it in the garage. He also reprimanded the old man.

"Don't be like that, it's not good. Don't shame yourself," said Baim.

The video clip was then made into TikTok content and went viral. Netizens protested by not agreeing with Baim Wong's attitude to the old man. Even Baim's name has become a trending topic on Twitter.

"If you don't give it's okay… but don't make it as a content… you get money from the content of humiliating this old man," wrote @vaniadeasy.
