Accused Of Skipping Lectures After Receiving Payment, Ustad Solmed Made A Police Report

JAKARTA - Ustaz Solmed is accused of violating the agreement to give a lecture in the Cisewu area, Pengalengan, Bandung. Even though Ustaz Swarna as the committee representative also admitted that he had given some money as payment for Ustaz Solmed to give a lecture.

Swarna admitted that he had been secured to the police station to avoid the tantrums of the residents at the scene at the time of the incident. Hearing his name being called, Ustaz Solmed spoke up.

He explained the chronology of the cancellation of the lecture. He decided to return to Jakarta because the location of the event suddenly moved to Garut.

"First, I want to clarify that Mr. Swarna is not a committee but a broker who connects me with those who have events. Mr. Suwarna was not honest in inviting me, this is his invitation to me. Pangalengan," he told reporters, Wednesday, October 6.

While showing screenshots of proof of conversation with Swarna, Solmed explained Swarna's mistake. "Secondly, I once made a video that I would be attending Cisewu. Then he sent a banner without an address here. He wrote a video made to make sure the event was in Pangalengan, Bandung, not Garut. He made more banners, all in Bandung district, Pangalengan sub-district," he explained.

Regarding the mass outrage, Ustaz Solmed asked the committee to understand the reason. "The committee who invited him through Mr. Suwarna, I will clarify, the information reached me was in Bandung, not in Garut," he said.

Because Mr. Swarna revealed compositions, fake news, slander, Ustaz Solmed chose to report this case to the police. "Yesterday I have told you twice 24 hours, you will be reported to the police. From Friday to Tuesday, I waited 4 days, there was no good faith from Mr. Swarna so according to my promise. On October 5, I officially reported this matter to the West Java Police. Mr. Suwarna and Mr. Tisna that I reported. I don't want to argue too much, please settle it at the West Java Regional Police," he said.
