JAKARTA - Putri Mangkunegara IX and Sukmawati Soekarnoputri, GRA Agung Putri Suniwati or known as Menur told VOI about how her father's burial took place. As previously noted, SIJ KGPAA Mangkunegara IX passed away on Friday, August 13.

Previously, Menur could not go to Solo for one reason. The whole family all went to Solo with a group of corpses. "I have permission from Kanjeng Ibu and other relatives for one reason not being able to come to Solo, GRA Agung Putri Suniwati," he said.

However, the consideration of friends who reminded him that he would regret it if he could not see the deceased's body for the last time made him change his mind.

"I was looking for a full plane. I didn't find any at dawn either, finally there was a group that invited me to go. Finally rented a rental car at 12 in the morning. Arrived solo at half past 7, still in a hurry," he recalls.

Menur did not expect that many people would ask about his presence at the SIJ KGPAA Mangkunegara IX funeral. "It turned out that everyone was waiting for me. If not, the pandemic could take hours to go to the funeral. The enthusiasm of the community is great," he said.
