JAKARTA - After being appointed as Independent Commissioner at HK Metals Utama, many are curious about the figure of Ricky Harun. The man who was born 34 years ago in Bandung is the eldest child of a prominent model, Donna Harun.

Like his mother, Ricky made a career in the entertainment world through his debut soap opera 'This Is It' in 2003. He competed acting with several artists including Alyssa Soebandono.

The talent for this role, the name of this 43-year-old man is increasingly soaring and makes him often act in many soap opera titles. One of them was a soap opera titled Pinocchio and the Blue Fairy in 2005. He played Pinocchio and competed with a number of other artists such as Esa Sigit, Marini Zumarnis and Lenna Tan.

In 2014, Ricky returned to the small screen by starring in the soap opera titled Ganteng-Ganteng Serigala. In the soap opera he played the role of Galang. He also competed acting with other actors, namely Prilly Latuconsina and Aliando Syarief.

Not only actively appearing on the small screen, Ricky Harun also often starred in a number of television film titles, and began to explore the world of the big screen since 2006. One of them played the role of Ian in the film Rumah Pondok Indah in 2006.

Throughout his career, Ricky Harun has starred in 19 feature films, 23 soap operas and 52 television films (FTV). Thanks to this series of roles, Ricky Harun won a number of awards, one of which was as the Most Popular Main Actor at the 2016 SCTV Awards.

Ricky has four children from his marriage to Herfiza Novianti. They are Mikaila Akyza Pratama, Athaya Akyza Pratama, Dhia Malik Akyza Pratama, and Aisyah Akyza Pratama.

Not many people know about his work as an entrepreneur. Long time no see on the screen, Ricky is known to be building a culinary business Pecel Ayam Go. Ricky was quite enthusiastic about the effort. Even though it was open at the beginning of the pandemic, Ricky has been able to open 7 branches so far.

Ricky Harun's seriousness in getting into business became more evident when his name appeared in the public expose of manufacturing issuers published in the information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on August 16.
