Anwar also emphasized that ASEAN remained the main forum that upholds justice in the region, not because ASEAN is a perfect organization, but because in an increasingly divided world, the effort to continue to sit together, dialogue, and find common ground is far more valuable than rhetoric that only fuels hostility.
He said Malaysia would continue to expand its network of cooperation, strengthen relations with existing partners, while exploring new potential with countries in the Global South.
