Revealed, Rihanna Almost Joined In The Film Annette

JAKARTA - In the midst of the release of the film Annette last week, a news was revealed that Rihanna almost played a small role in the film.

Annette director Leos Carax shared the facts with USA Today on Sunday, August 8. Rihanna is planned to play a supporting character in this film.

"This is a small piece written specifically for her (Rihanna). She was supposed to play Rihanna. When little Annette became famous, there was a duet between puppet and Rihanna but Rihanna felt rivaled with this person,” said Carax.

In 2017, there was a rumor that said Rihanna joined the film but the artist's representative denied the news.

Leos Carax explained that instead of changing the cast of Rihanna, he chose to delete the scene.

Annette tells the story of a stand-up comedian (Adam Driver) who falls in love with an opera singer (Marion Cotillard). They are blessed with a child named Annette who has a special ability.

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival where Carax won the Best Director award.

On the other hand, Rihanna has just been crowned a billionaire because of her achievements in the cosmetics business. Launching NME, Rihanna responded to the news by saying, "God is good."
