Welcoming Baek Yerin's Return Through Every Letter I Sent You Album

JAKARTA - Soloist from South Korea, Baek Yerin released his first album entitled Every Letter I Sent You. The album, which was released through his record label, Blue Vinyl, is Yerin's post-release debut project from JYP Entertainment after being tied for 12 years.

Every Letter I Sent You album contains 18 tracks divided into two parts. Square (2017) which was chosen as the main single immediately climbed the charts and won an all-kill because it reached number one in all South Korean music charts. A proud achievement for Yerin who came from an indie label.

All 18 tracks on this album are sung in English except for the track entitled Datoom. Not to forget, Yerin put a Korean translation for her listeners. Through his Instagram upload, Yerin describes this album as a reflection of his memories, dilemmas and thought processes when he was 19 to 23 years old.

“Without mentioning specific parties, I send my feelings in the form of songs. And I'm glad I was able to send them to you. This album is my way of thanking people who love and support my journey as a musician, ”wrote Yerin.

Every Letter I Sent You is dominated by acoustic guitar and piano accompaniment. Yerin's soft voice flows softly in every track that mostly written by him. The listener can also feel the stories in this album, for example the first track Rest. This song is Yerin's expression to be able to rest in a comfortable place. Or try listening to the song Popo (How deep is our love?) Where Yerin expresses her admiration for a man.

After the single Square reached No.1 on the South Korean charts, Yerin again wrote her thanks for appreciating the album. He admitted that it took a lot of courage to prepare a large album with two parts. However, ranking one on the charts was already a huge achievement for him. "Thank you for seeing my progress."

A music video was also prepared by Baek Yerin for fans who miss her. On December 10, Yerin has released the music videos for Popo (How deep is our love?) And 0310. It is not yet known whether Yerin will return to release the music video or not. To be sure, South Korean people and Yerin's fans welcome Baek Yerin's music back.

Several musician friends expressed their joy with Yerin's latest album, including Sunmi, Code Kunst, Yeri and Joy from the group Red Velvet, Jennie from the BLACKPINK group, and Simon Dominic.

Yerin is a member of the duo 15 & with Park Jimin since 2012. However, they have not been actively releasing works since 2014. Yerin was given a solo project by JYP by releasing two mini albums, one of which was Our Love Is Great. However, that album will be Baek Yerin's last album under the JYP label.

Before leaving JYP, Yerin also had a side project called The Volunteers. This band is a rock genre.
