Recovering From Liver Disease, Gary Iskak Admits He Had Surrendered

JAKARTA - Gary Iskak was declared cured of the Hepatitis C virus, which caused him to be hospitalized for 8 days. At that time his condition was quite alarming, a photo of him lying with a breathing tube went viral and made netizens excited.

"At that time, I just gave up, surrendered. Everything was white and white," said Gary Iskak when he was a guest at Kopi Viral, quoted from YouTube Trans TV Official, Thursday, August 5.

After that he chose to be treated outpatient at home. "I actually still have to be treated for 8 days (at the hospital), but it's okay to take outpatient care, in the end I chose to do outpatient care. Instead of here (hospital) there are also many people who are sick," he said.

In the recovery process, Gary wants to always think positive. "It's fun whatever it is, which is positive," he explained.

Gary admits that he is ready to return to work after being declared cured of Hepatitis C. However, he still pays attention to his diet during the recovery period.

"Yes, he's still recovering, but the good news is that the Hepatitis C virus is gone. So it's not too serious now. So what needs to be repaired is his liver, liver function," said Gary Iskak when met on a different occasion.

Gary Iskak admitted that it was difficult to regulate his diet, because after recovering from liver disease, his body functions seemed to be reborn.

"It's just the diet that is a bit difficult, because I have to go back to how I used to be. Like a child (there are foods that) can't be. It's just that people need the process right away, I'm afraid of what to do but we have to go through the process," he concluded.
