JAKARTA - Amazon Prime Video streaming service released the official trailer for the film Cinderella starring Camila Cabello on Tuesday, August 3.
In the new trailer, the Cinderella film highlights Cinderella's (Cabello) struggle to own a fashion business rather than finding true love like the fairy tale.
Cinderella's problem is stuck with her stepmother (Idina Menzel) and her stepsisters. The dance party was getting closer and he wanted to attend the event and show off his collection of dresses.
Luckily Cinderella has a Fairy Godmother (Billy Porter) who helps her go to the dance. “Do you want to go to the dance and meet a bunch of rich people who will change your life?” asked the Fairy Godmother in the trailer.
"Yes. I just cried and sang it two minutes ago,” replied Cinderella.
Directed by Kay Cannon, this modern version of Cinderella has musical performances, in part because singer Camila Cabello also worked on the original music.
Minnie Driver, James Corden, and Pierce Brosnan also starred in the film, while Leo Pearlman, Jonathan Kadin, and Shannon McIntosh are producing.
Initially, Cinderella was projected to appear in theaters but because the pandemic did not end, the broadcast rights were purchased by Amazon. Cinderella will premiere on Prime Video starting September 3.
