Reject Drugs, Shinta Priwit Gives The Most Powerful Stress Medicine

JAKARTA - Pop reggae musician Shinta Priwit released his seventh move on the album series 7URUS HIDUP MORE ASYIK right on International Anti Narcotics Day (HANI) sometime ago.

Titled Obat Stress, this song tells the story of a person who tries to make life fun even though sometimes stress hits. She tries to get rid of her stress because the best medicine is from within herself.

Initially, this song was titled Stress and brought Shinta to be the best vocalist plus the band won at the Jakarta Music Festival 2003. The band was almost signed by a big label in Jakarta in the same year, but fate said differently because they ended up disbanding.

Reflecting on that experience during this pandemic, Shinta took the initiative to change the title of the song.

"Hopefully, this song can be a stress reliever and no one will take drugs", said Shinta Priwit in an official statement received by VOI, Tuesday, July 13.

The song and lyrics of Medicine for Stress were composed by Shinta Priwit, the composition was handed over to Rachmat Ady Utomo, the guitar line was executed by Anto Frids and the bass was performed by Ricky Rachmadi.

The vocal recording of the song Obat Stress was carried out at PORT STUDIO and the mixing mastering was done by Andre Mesa.

The lyric video for the song Obat Stress was made by the Priwit TV Team (Teds Arri, Habiboy, Alfan) and assisted by Shinta's best friend, Anoy Morison and Dilla the owner of the Vespa in the promo photo of Shinta Priwit.
