Jo Byeong Gyu Gets The Offer To Play In Korean Drama 'History Of Losers'

JAKARTA - Actor Jo Byeong Gyu received an offer to star in a Korean drama entitled History of Losers. This drama tells of a romantic relationship that can turn a person into a loser.

In the romantic comedy genre, History of Losers was originally intended to be produced as a film in 2015. This plan was changed to a Korean drama format and was written by Kim Poong and directed by Kim Sung Hoon. This film is an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name.

Jo Byeong Gyu gets an offer as Seo Min Ki, a new student majoring in Korean Literature. He is a man who often feels doubtful but sometimes dares to do something. Because of this he often acts recklessly and makes mistakes.

Seo Min Ki's wish at the age of 20 is to be able to drink with his friends and play games at internet cafes.

HB Entertainment always the agency that oversees Jo Byeong Gyu confirmed this news and the actor is considering the offer carefully.

If Jo Byeong Gyu accepts this offer, History of Losers will be his latest project after The Uncanny Counter which ends in early 2021.

Last February, his name was dragged into a school violence case. Someone claimed to have been bullied by Jo Byeong Gyu while studying in New Zealand together. HB Entertainment denied all the allegations.

Jo Byeong Gyu himself has given a personal statement regarding the allegations and his agency is suing the person who wrote the post.
