Leaked, Warner Bros. Releases New Trailer For The Suicide Squad

JAKARTA - The trailer for The Suicide Squad was released by Warner Bros. on Tuesday, June 22. Previously, this video was leaked on the internet with the title "The Suicide Squad - Early Access Trailer Do Not Share".

It is not known whether this action was intentional or not, but director James Gunn had written that some players released the trailer earlier than the scheduled time.

Through the official trailer, Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) goes on a mission to destroy Nazi-era laboratories and prisons. Waller finds Bloodsport and reunites him with the rest of the Suicide Squad.

According to Gunn, The Suicide Squad film will appear more unique and slightly different from David Ayer's 2016 Suicide Squad.

Several Suicide Squad stars also returned to reprise their supervillain roles, such as Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Davis as Waller, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, and Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag.

Meanwhile, several new players were John Cena as Peacemaker, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man, Alice Braga as Sul Soria, Daniela Melchior as Ratcatcher 2, Nathan Fillion as TDK.

Then there are Mayling Ng, Michael Rooker, Pete Davidson, Peter Capaldi, Sean Gunn, and Flula Borg. Suicide Squad creator John Ostrander will appear as Dr. Fitzgibbon and Taika Waititi have secret roles.

The Suicide Squad is James Gunn's latest film after directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. He was also appointed to direct the Peacemaker series for HBO Max and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The Suicide Squad will hit theaters August 6th and HBO Max.
