Update On BCL Conditions During The COVID-19 Isolation Period, Mental Down

JAKARTA - Bunga Citra Lestari still has to undergo a period of self-isolation due to exposure to COVID-19. Trying to always show toughness when uploading his condition on Instagram, BCL's mentality turned out to be down.

Not just because of physical symptoms that make him tired. Having to separate from Noah turned out to make him worried and mentally down. It happened on the sixth day of isolation.

"Today I want to share a little bit about how I feel.. It turns out that not only causes physical symptoms, COVID also makes me mentally down.. Even though I'm not alone here, I'm in isolation with 4 friends who are also both infected –– sometimes, I still feel low...," wrote BCL on the verified account @bclsinclair, quoted on Monday, June 21.

The hardest thing that BCL felt was having to part with Noah. "I had to trouble other people to help take care of Noah's business, it wasn't easy for me at all... Blessed my family for helping me out...," he said.

It turns out that BCL has not only lost the sense of smell and taste. There are times, BCL shortness of breath.

"Often worry comes, especially when my body feels low, shortness of breath, loss of feeling.. Plus other external factors that I can't control –– it's getting heavier.. I can only try to keep smiling and accepting. .," he said.

Isolating with several friends in the same house, BCL feels that it has a good support system. Therefore, BCL also sends prayers for fellow COVID-19 positive patients.

"For friends who are also currently struggling against Covid 19, I pray that they will always be given strength, patience, enthusiasm, and hope.. Sending loves and prayers to each of you.. Yes, we can do this," concluded BCL.
