"We are pleased to announce that Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan have renewed their exclusive contracts with SM Entertainment. This renewal reflects the strong cooperation between the members that has been built up over the years and the members' trust in the company," SM Entertainment said on Wednesday, July 15.
Through his statement, the agency thanked the members for their trust for 10 years and to the fans who supported their idol's journey.
"We are truly grateful to the members for their dedication for 10 years and to the fans who gave their support and made this journey a reality," he continued.
"SM Entertainment will fully support NCT 127 and remain a trusted partner as the group embarks on this new chapter," he said.
Initially, the group debuted with seven members consisting of Taeil, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, Winwin, Mark, and Haechan. Then, Doyoung, Johnny, and Jungwoo became new members some time later.
Taeil, Winwin, and Mark left the group at different times and now, Doyoung and Jungwoo are serving their military duties.
This contract extension comes weeks after NCT 127 announced their latest album plans on August 24, 2026. They also announced their latest tour titled NEO CITY - THE REDLINE which begins on September 18 in South Korea.
NCT 127 will also return to Jakarta with the REDLINE concert on October 3, 2026 at the Indonesia Arena, Central Jakarta.
