JAKARTA - K-pop group OH MY GIRL has canceled their plans to release a new album this year. WM Entertainment agency shared this news after previously revealing the members' plans to make a comeback in early 2026.

"We would like to apologize for not giving news regarding the group's activities and appearances for the first half of this year which was previously announced through various online media articles," WM Entertainment said on Monday, June 22.

The agency revealed that the members were committed to promoting with the group but this delay continued because of the long-time music-making process.

"Because the process of collecting and choosing music for the new album took longer than expected, we decided we couldn't process it according to the original plan," the agency explained.

"The members use every opportunity to meet fans and are committed to presenting the best version of OH MY GIRL. Currently, the members are preparing a new album as OH MY GIRL," he said.

Considering the group's album was postponed, this year the agency revealed that the members would focus on individual activities in the second half. OH MY GIRL consists of Hyojung, Mimi, YooA, Seunghee, Yubin, and Arin.

The agency also confirmed that the plans for a new album will still be realized by extending the official membership to fans called Miracle.

"Once again, we apologize to fans who have waited for a long time. We promise to fulfill our responsibilities and work to build trust through various opportunities for the future. Thank you," the agency concluded.

Originally, OH MY GIRL revealed plans for a new album earlier this year along with promotions and concert tours. They also last released the single Oh My in April 2025 to celebrate their 10th anniversary debut.
