JAKARTA - The Indonesian creative industry has once again recorded gold ink on the international stage. The web series WeTV Original Love & 10 Million Dollars produced by Hitmaker Studios officially received an award from the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) as an Indonesian series that managed to occupy the trending position in the most countries.

Hitmaker Studios producer, Rocky Soraya, expressed his pride in the enthusiasm of global audiences.

"Yes, I am proud that this can trend in 34 countries and this is a very high achievement for a series of us in Indonesia," said Rocky Soraya in Central Jakarta, Thursday, June 3.

This achievement is said to surpass the previous local serial record standard. MURI representative, Osmar Semesta, explained that the figure of 34 countries is a big leap for the digital ecosystem of the country.

"Today MURI is proud to record this extraordinary achievement. WeTV broke the previous record of 21 or 24 countries," explained Osmar.

WeTV Indonesia also expressed gratitude for the hard work of the team involved since the pre-production period. Febriamy Hutapea as a representative of WeTV said this success was inseparable from the quality of the story packaging.

"Of course this is the hard work of the whole team, especially from Hitmaker Studios, Mr. Rocky Soraya as producer, the entire cast and all the crew involved," said Febriamy.

Rocky added that the strategy from the beginning was directed to target foreign markets through the selection of strong premises.

"Before we shot this series, I definitely discussed with the WeTV team what the story was that could not only be in Indonesia but could be accepted around the world, in the global market," he said.

For him, the concept of '10 million dollars' is a very universal attraction.

"This twist is that it is 10 million dollars that can connect to many audiences. With this, we are also very proud to present a series that can go global," continued Rocky Soraya.

Not only about numbers, Febriamy emphasized that the audience feels tied to the emotions presented in each episode.

Febriamy also revealed the strong reason why this series is so popular in various countries.

"Why is this liked, of course because the content of the story is close to the community such as toxic marriage or toxic marriage, there is also an interesting moral dilemma," he said again.

Giorgino Abraham, the main actor, admitted that he was surprised and touched to see his work appreciated abroad.
