Nikita Willy Reveals the Moment That Strengthened Him to Wear Hijab: Issa Mau Gave Me a Hijab

JAKARTA - Beautiful actress Nikita Willy recently shared a touching story about her spiritual journey. Apparently, one of the strong triggers for her to start wearing hijab came from her son's unexpected request, Issa Xander Djokosoetono.

This story begins when Nikita has just returned to the country after performing the umrah. Surprisingly, he received a gift from his son's Koran teacher.

"Yesterday, when I came home from umrah, my teacher Issa suddenly gave me a hijab, gave me a veil. Then I said, 'What is this Miss?'" recalled Nikita Willy quoted by VOI from Instagram @dagingtalk, Thursday, May 7.

There is a touching reason behind the hijab. The teacher told that Issa showed a proud achievement while studying the Koran. As a form of appreciation, the teacher intends to give a gift to the boy who is familiarly called Baby Issa.

However, instead of asking for toys or items for himself, Issa thought about his mother.

"The miss is the story, 'Oh, I wanted to give Issa a gift because Issa was a good student. When asked what the gift was? (Issa answered) I want to buy a veil for my mother'," said Nikita, imitating the words of the teacher who taught her son.

Hearing the sincere request from her child, Nikita admitted that she was speechless and felt touched. He felt that the event seemed to be an answer or a signal for him to immediately strengthen his heart to cover his face.

"So when I came back from umroh, the teacher gave it to me, and I said, 'Wow, do I really have to wear a veil?'" said the wife of Indra Priawan.

Although Issa's request was a very memorable moment, Nikita hinted that her big decision to wear hijab was not only based on that one incident.

"That's one of the reasons, but actually there are still many other reasons," concluded Nikita.
