Clara Shinta: 'I Want to Die if I Break Up with My Husband'

JAKARTA - A heavy decision was finally made by Clara Shinta after a storm of infidelity hit her family. Although she admitted that she still loved her husband, Alexa, she had officially filed for divorce at the South Jakarta Religious Court.

"So far, God willing, I am firm in my separation. Please pray and be strong because this separation is not easy. I am also scattered, I feel like I have to die to separate from my husband because I love him so much," said Clara Shinta in South Jakarta, Tuesday, April 14.

This divorce decision was made because Clara felt that the foundation of trust in her marriage had collapsed. Although her husband had apologized deeply, Clara's heart was already gaping.

"Until now, his apology is extraordinary, he is extraordinary in regret. But still, the name of a woman's heart has been disappointed, there is no more trust. I don't want to be depressed, updating Instagram yesterday was my small step to continue living," he explained.

This problem is more strange because it involves the feelings of their children. Clara told how her children started looking for the presence of a father figure who is no longer living together.

"My children who don't understand anything will definitely be affected. They ask, 'Where is my father?'. We haven't lived together since we came back from Bangkok. We came home on one plane, but went straight to our respective homes at the airport," said Clara sadly.

Sunan Kalijaga added that the damage to this household was the biggest loss suffered by his client. He was very sorry if this privacy issue had to end at the green table.

"Our clients have experienced damage to their households so they have to file for divorce. The children's psyches are disturbed because they are crowded in the news and they have to separate. How sad to see them have to end like this," said Sunan.

Clara emphasized that she did not hate her husband, but felt betrayed by her family. For her, her husband's immoral actions not only hurt her, but also betrayed the future of their children.

"He not only betrayed me, but betrayed our family and our children. Even though I accepted him in any condition, including when he was having economic difficulties in the last month. Why do you do that when you are in trouble?" concluded Clara with disappointment.
