JAKARTA - The shocking news came from one of the members of the JKT48 idol group, Raden Roro Freyanashifa Jayawardana or better known as Freya.

The popular member officially reported the alleged criminal act of data manipulation through electronic media to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Head of Public Relations of South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Murodih, confirmed the report. He said that the report was received on February 5, 2026 by the reporter on behalf of RR FJ.

"We from the South Jakarta Police received a report on February 5, 2026 on behalf of the reporter RR FJ," said AKBP Murodih to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, March 11.

Murodih explained that the case reported by Freya was related to data manipulation which was regulated in Article 35 in conjunction with Article 51 of Law Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to the ITE Law.

Based on the report, this incident is suspected to have occurred over a fairly long period of time, namely from 2022 to 2026. The scene of the crime (TKP) is recorded in the Permata Hijau area, Grogol Utara, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

"The object of the case is the existence of a post from the perpetrator using the @groq and @swap accounts, which seems to show that the post is the reporter or the victim," explained Murodih.

The alleged manipulation of data surfaced after the victim found several uploads that used digital technology to inappropriately change his image. Murodih revealed that there were several accounts and content that were evidence of the report.

"It started when the victim saw a post that the owner of the account did not know, it was found that there were some words (commands/prompts) that the victim thought were not good. Among others, such as @groq_makes_her_wear_bikini and @swap_her_naughty_with_Alfamart_uniform," he said.

Feeling aggrieved and his good name tarnished by these manipulative content, Freya then took legal action.

Until now, the police are still conducting an investigation (lidik) to find out who the owner of the account behind the upload is. The police have also sent a summons to Freya to provide further information.

"We have sent a letter of clarification. The schedule is God willing tomorrow. We will ask for information or clarification from the reporter first while continuing to investigate," added Murodih.

Regarding whether Freya was accompanied by management or legal counsel when reporting, Murodih stated that his party was still coordinating with the investigation team. Meanwhile, the threat of punishment for the perpetrators will refer to the articles in the ITE Law that have been charged.

"Everything is still in the process of being surveyed. We will convey further developments later," he concluded.
