Actress Ratu Felisha is back acting in the latest horror comedy film, Tiba-Tiba Setan. Even though he often plays horror, he admits that there is something new in this film directed by Etienne Caesar.
"When I was invited, I saw "Isn't this horror?" So I'm really happy to play a horror comedy. Here it's not like shooting, it's like playing," said Ratu Felisha in South Jakarta on Monday, March 9.
Ratu Felisha plays the role of Kamila, a woman who likes to do surgery and repairs to her face until she can't express herself.
"I'm Kamila who mostly has fillers and botox so I can't express much, the challenge is filming with them (Oki Rengga-Lolox) but I can't express," he explained.
Director Etienne Caesar has worked on many horror comedy films, but this film is felt to be lighter for the audience to enjoy.
"Because this horror comedy is more comedy and we talk to the executive producer, what kind of horror do you want, what kind of horror is entertaining, so it's not scary," said Etienne Caesar.
"I can say that I wrote several films but this film is the most unique because usually it takes weeks to pitch, but this one was called (producer), asked "Uka, is there a horror comedy film?" There is already a story. I've been making the story for 10 years," said Uka as one of the writers.
The first trailer released on the same day, featuring the action of Oki Rengga and Lolox who are in a hotel and experience a number of terrors after being involved in a dispute over the treasure left by their father.
The film Tiba-Tiba Setan can be watched in Indonesian cinemas starting April 16, 2026.
