Celebrate Ramadan with Family through Various Exciting Activities at Shopping Centers

JAKARTA - Ramadan is often a time to be together with family. In addition to fasting, many people take advantage of this moment to strengthen relationships through simple activities such as breaking the fast together, shopping for Lebaran needs, to enjoying various Ramadan-themed events at shopping centers.

The atmosphere of togetherness was also felt at a number of shopping centers that began to present various thematic activities throughout the holy month.

Celebrating Ramadan 2026, Lippo Malls Indonesia (LMI) held a series of programs titled "A Season of Harmony" which took place around 70 shopping centers spread across 18 provinces and 37 cities in Indonesia.

This program provides various activities that combine cultural elements, entertainment, and community activities. Various events are prepared to provide a more colorful Ramadan experience for the community, ranging from art performances to interactive activities that can be enjoyed with the family.

A number of shopping centers also present thematic decorations with a Ramadan feel, such as lantern ornaments, flower carpets, Middle Eastern motifs, and warm lighting. The decorations not only beautify the mall area, but also create an atmosphere that supports moments of togetherness for visitors.

Art and cultural performances are one of the agendas that also enliven the atmosphere of Ramadan. Various performances such as marawis, Middle Eastern dances, nasyid, to religious music performances are presented at a number of locations to add to the atmosphere before breaking the fast.

In addition to art performances, several shopping centers also present musical performances from various bands held before the time of breaking the fast. This activity is one alternative entertainment for visitors who want to spend time with family or friends.

The excitement of Ramadan is also presented through various competitions and interactive activities involving children and communities. Some of the competitions that were held included Muslim fashion competitions, hijab competitions, to Islamic-themed races such as dai children's races, Al-Qur'an tahfidz, adzan, as well as marawis and hadroh performances.

In addition to entertainment activities, various Ramadan bazaars are also held to provide a variety of community needs during the holy month. The bazaar offers a variety of products, ranging from Muslim fashion, beauty products, culinary, to various products from micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The presence of this bazaar is not only a place to shop, but also opens up opportunities for local business actors who want to introduce their products to the public.

Lippo Malls Indonesia Chief Marketing Officer, Santiwati Basuki, said this program was designed to present a warmer and more communal Ramadan atmosphere.

"Through the A Season of Harmony program, we want to present Ramadan as a meaningful moment of togetherness. We hope that this activity can be a space for people to gather, celebrate culture, and create warm moments with family," he said.

All of these exciting series can be enjoyed with the family at various shopping centers such as LMI such as Lippo Mall Puri, Lippo Mall Kemang, Senayan Park, Lippo Mall Nusantara, Pluit Village, Gajah Mada Plaza, Lippo Plaza Kramat Jati, Cibubur Junction, Tamini Square, and various other LMI malls throughout Indonesia.
