JAKARTA - The legal dispute between celebrity Nabilah O'brien and guitarist Zendhy Kusuma has finally officially ended at the peace table.

The Directorate of Investigation Supervision (Wassidik) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has successfully facilitated mediation between the two parties to resolve the case in a family manner.

The mediation, which took place at the National Police Criminal Investigation Office on Sunday, March 8, resulted in an agreement that both parties chose to end their legal disputes.

Head of the Public Information Bureau (Karo Penmas) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, stated that this step is a form of the National Police's commitment to prioritizing justice that touches all parties.

"This mediation step is part of the commitment of the National Police in providing a sense of justice for all parties involved," said Trunoyudo in Jakarta, Sunday, March 8.

Trunoyudo explained that this case had previously been split into two different legal processes. One report was handled at the Mampang Police, South Jakarta Metro Police, while the other report was processed at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police.

Seeing the connection between these events, the Wassidik Bureau of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police then conducted an in-depth analysis to find the best way out through the restorative justice mechanism.

"Based on today's meeting, all parties concerned were present in person, namely Brother Z and his wife Sister E, as well as Sister N.O and Brother K.D.H," he said.

In the meeting, the four parties agreed to pour peace into an official agreement. As a consequence of this peace agreement, each party also signed a withdrawal of the police report at the related investigative unit.

Apart from legal matters, another important point in this peace is the commitment to maintain the atmosphere in the digital space. The parties agreed to delete content on their respective social media related to the dispute.

"In addition to signing the mediation minutes and withdrawing the report, the parties also agreed to delete content on social media in accordance with the points of agreement," continued the one-star general.

The incident began at Nabilah's restaurant, Bibi Kelinci Kopitiam in Kemang, South Jakarta. A pair of customers, Zendhy Kusuma and his wife, Evi Santi, ordered 11 meals and 3 drinks worth around Rp530 thousand.

Due to old orders, one of the customers entered the kitchen area which was actually prohibited. He cursed the kitchen staff and a commotion occurred.

After that, the couple took the order and left without paying. This incident was recorded on the restaurant's CCTV.

After the incident, Nabilah reported the couple to the Mampang Prapatan Police in September 2025. The report used Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft.

The police then processed the report and the couple of customers were initially named as suspects.

Nabilah also uploaded CCTV footage of the incident to social media to explain the chronology of the incident at his restaurant. However, this step created a new problem.

The customer pair then reported Nabilah back to the Bareskrim Polri's Dittipidsiber with charges of violating the ITE Law, defamation, and spreading CCTV footage without permission.

During the investigation process, Nabilah was named a suspect in February 2026. This case went viral because the public considered the theft victim to be a suspect.
