JAKARTA - Kim Seon Ho and Go Youn Jung visited Jakarta for their latest series, Can This Love be Translated? In this series, the actor plays an interpreter named Joo Ho Jin.
Through his latest role, Kim Seon Ho prepared for four months to learn Italian and Japanese.
"I prepared for 4 months and there are language teachers for each language. If I don't prepare? Maybe this scene I've given up," said Kim Seon Ho at a press conference in South Jakarta on Friday, January 16.
"But I discussed it with the language teacher and in the end I and the rest of them handed it over to the fans who watched," he said.
Of all the languages he has studied, Kim Seon Ho says there is one he finds the most difficult to master.
"Actually, all languages are difficult, but if you think about it, Japanese is the first, because it is easier to reach," continued Kim Seon Ho.
"But for details and many portions it is Japanese, it is difficult. After that, Italian is also difficult," he continued.
Director Yoo Young Eun as the creator also explained that the series tries to shoot the beauty of the background and meaningful conversations between the two main characters.
"I wanted to capture the image when he was alone. We visited many beautiful places. The scenery is so stunning and extraordinary. We tried to show things like Japan with a warm impression, Canada with the aurora giving a dramatic impression and I also tried to unite the feelings of the two characters," said director Yoo Young Eun.
