JAKARTA - Actor Adly Fairuz is now facing serious legal problems. He was sued in a civil case for alleged failure to perform with a fantastic value of IDR 5 billion for the Akpol acceptance case.

However, Adly's party through his lawyer categorically denied all of these allegations and called it a systematic effort to damage the artist's good name.

Adly Fairuz's lawyer, Andy R.H. Gultom, S.H., stated that the lawsuit did not reflect the actual legal facts. According to him, there is no strong legal basis to trap his client in this case.

"This lawsuit for Rp5 billion does not reflect the actual legal facts at all. There is no basis for non-performance, no element of fraud, and no real loss that can be proven," Andy R.H. Gultom said in his official statement quoted by VOI, Monday, January 12.

Andy explained that Adly Fairuz's role in this case was only as a communication intermediary, not a party who manages or controls the funds in question. He emphasized that his client had acted in good faith from the beginning.

"Our client has never received, controlled, or promised funds as alleged in the lawsuit. The real fact is that our client has acted in good faith in an effort to help resolve the issue," continued Andy.

The lawyer revealed irregularities in this lawsuit, namely regarding the legal standing or legal rights of the plaintiff. Based on legal documents and the Money Refund Agreement dated April 14, 2025 before a notary, the disputed money is suspected of not belonging to the plaintiff or the parties listed therein.

"A person cannot sue over an object that is not his right. The evidence of this lawsuit clearly contains contradictions and is legally hallucinatory," said Andy.

Furthermore, Andy revealed a shocking fact that the plaintiff was listed as a lawyer for one of the parties who was reported to the police (Mr. Agung Wahyono) in June 2025.

Moreover, there is information regarding the involvement of the plaintiff in the process of collecting money worth approximately Rp4 billion in Surabaya which was then brought to Jakarta.

As a form of moral responsibility and good faith, Andy said that Adly Fairuz had sent Rp500 million directly to the plaintiff's account. In fact, the delivery also included an additional cost of Rp5 million at the request of the plaintiff with the excuse of office administration costs.

With these facts, the legal team questioned the real motive behind the civil lawsuit with the jumbo value that was just filed now.

"If you really feel harmed, why didn't the plaintiff immediately report it from the beginning? Why wait a long time and actually file a civil lawsuit for non-performance with a fantastic value that is irrational?" he asked rhetorically.

Despite being under fire from legal lawsuits, Adly Fairuz is reportedly still calm and focused on carrying out his professional activities. Through his lawyer, Adly stated that he was ready to face the legal process openly and with dignity.

"We ask the public not to rush to judge. We believe that the truth will be revealed at the trial and the good name of our client will be restored," concluded Andy R.H. Gultom.

For information, Adly Fairuz was sued in a civil case by lawyer Farly Lumopa for the Akpol acceptance case. Farly revealed that in this case Adly had promised his friend, Abdul Hadi, to help his son enter Akpol.

Unfortunately, after two attempts, Abdul Hadi's son failed to enter. Therefore, Farly, who was tasked with monitoring Abdul's funds to Adly Fairuz, asked for Abdul's money to be returned.

Unfortunately, Farly claimed that out of the total Rp3.6 billion, Adly only returned Rp500 million to Abdul Hadi by the deadline for return.
