Attorney Admits Akui Anrez Adelio Asked Icel to Drink Abortion Pills

JAKARTA - One of the most incriminating evidence of Anrez Adelio is the existence of a short message in which he asked Icel or Friceilda Prillea to abort her pregnancy.

Anrez did not deny the existence of the chat, but they provided an explanation about the context behind it.

"We will not deny... there is a chat to drink medicine," said Anrez's lawyer, Ramzy Brata Sungkar when contacted, Monday, January 5.

However, he emphasized that the message was delivered in a state of panic and shock.

"I see it from my personal point of view, anrez who panicked and was shocked to hear the news that icel was pregnant with his child," he explained.

According to him, the sentence "you just take medicine" that was uttered at that time was more of an "impulsive solution" that was not thought through carefully.

Ramzy also emphasized that there was no element of coercion or threat in the message. "Anrez did not force or threaten," he said.

The fact that the baby in Icel's womb is still healthy to this day is another proof for them. This shows that Anrez did not really force Icel to have an abortion.

"God willing, the baby is still there and is healthy to this day," he said.

They are preparing this defense to face the charge of attempted abortion or coercion. They will leave it to the law to conclude whether Anrez's actions are coercion or not.
