Divorce Trial Continues To Evidence, Raisa Presents Brothers And Employees As Witnesses

JAKARTA - Raisa and Hamish Daud's divorce trial was held again with an agenda of principal examination and proof. In this trial, Hamish Daud's side as the defendant again did not show his nose.

Hamish Daud's absence opened the possibility of a verstek decision at the end of the trial. However, Raisa's attorney, Putra Lubis, fully left the decision to the panel of judges.

"If later the decision in question is also not present, it means that it becomes Verstek. But this is back to the Panel of Judges," Putra said via video connection, Monday, December 1.

Even without the defendant's presence, the trial will continue. Raisa took advantage of this opportunity to submit written evidence and present witnesses.

Two witnesses were presented to provide information before the panel of judges. Both are the closest people to Raisa.

"The witness had his brother, his name was Aldi. And also what's his name... caregiver, yes, his name is Linda," said Lubis' son.

In addition to witnesses, written evidence submitted focuses on legality of marriage and child status.

"Just marriage book. Marriage book and Birth Certificate," he said.

Putra emphasized that there was no other evidence related to the divorce material filed today. The available evidence is only to show the existence of a legal marriage bond and the whereabouts of the child from the marriage.

Agenda persidangan selanjutnya akan digelar pada tanggal 15 Desember mendatang. Pihak Raisa masih diberi kesempatan untuk mengajukan bukti tambahan jika diperlukan.

With this stage of evidence running, the divorce process for Raisa and Hamish Daud is getting closer to the final round, even without the defendant's presence.
