Chicco Jerikho Admits His Role As David Ozora's Father Is Not An Acting: It's Carried To The House

JAKARTA - Actor Chicco Jerikho gave a very emotional appearance when he played Jonathan Latumahina, David Ozora's father. He admitted that the pain and anger he displayed on the screen was not just acting, but a sincere feeling that emerged from within him.

"Being Jonathan in this film, yes. So I know what happened," said Chicco in the South Jakarta area, Friday, November 28.

"The more I explore, the more I enter and I play Jonathan, the more I get and the more I feel what the pain is like," he continued.

Chicco, who is also a father, tries to imagine if this tragic incident happened to his own child. This feeling is the main fuel in every scene he plays.

"I feel, what if it happened to my son? What will I do?" said Chicco Jerikho.

He revealed that the shooting process was very tiring emotionally. Being in the hospital set and seeing actor Muzakki Ramdhan lying helpless often makes him out of control.

"In fact, sometimes when I was on set to see Muzakki lying down, that's when I like to hang out," he admitted.

"It's emotional, annoyed, it's really like being angry and mixed with taste," he explained.

This feeling does not stop on set. Chicco admitted that his emotions from his role were often carried to the house.

"And that feeling was brought to the house. When I came home, I immediately hugged my child," he said.

Ozora's film is based on the true story of Jonathan (Chicco Jerikho) having to struggle to save the life of his son, David Ozora (Muzakki Ramdhan), who was persecuted by a child of a High-ranking State Official, until he entered into a state of Koma.

David Ozora's condition went viral, then together with all Indonesian people with various religions and beliefs, they performed prayers together hoping for a miracle for the recovery of their child.

Also with his two friends, Melissa (Tika Brahani), and Rustam (Rizky Hanggono), Jonathan continues to fight for justice, where Dennis (Erdin Werdrayana), the molester, continues to receive assistance and relief from systems that are questioned for his cleanliness in implementing the law, because of his father's role and position as Ruler of South Jakarta.
