JAKARTA - Tora Sudiro made a surprise in his acting career. After 24 years of being known as a comedy actor, he finally acted in his first horror film. The film Janur Ireng was chosen by Tora as the first horror film directed by Kimo Stamboel.

In this film, the actor who was born on May 10 plays Arjo Kuncoro, the head of the Kuncoro family who has hidden intentions towards the future heir to their family throne.

"What was new in the film Janur Ireng was that I was asked to act seriously. The acting was asked to be serious, not be symptomatic. Then if possible, the drama and its character would be deeper, calmer. Talking about being arranged, that's true," said Tora Sudiro to VOI on Monday, November 24.

Not only the character, but different impressions and traits than usual make Tora consider this film a challenge. In addition to the changing way of speaking, he also seems to take better care of his body.

"Usually I talk fast, right? It says that the intonation is calmer. It's been deliberately made like that. I've been crying for how many years, right. How many years have you been crying because the last time Kang Mak film was when you saw I was very fat. There I tried to take care of my body, trying to work.
