JAKARTA - The film Eternity is the latest film directed by David Freyne and combines three well-known actors: Miles Teller, Elizabeth Olsen, and Callum Turner.

From the production of A24, this film combines fantasy elements, comedy, romance that has social messages wrapped in the love triangle story that questions itself.

Eternity tells the world after death where a person who dies gets a week-long chance to choose their irreversibility.

Joan (Elizabeth Olsen) once found her soulmate, Larry (Miles Teller) who married for life and death. Larry is married to Joan, who was widowed because her ex-husband died while at war in Korea.

When they meet Larry, Joan finds a new life and they get married, have children, become grandparents. Their life is the perfect life of the dream partner, until Joan is diagnosed with end-stage cancer.

In the midst of that struggle, Larry left Joan. When Joan died arrived, Joan finally arrived at the stop before deciding where he might go.

Joan was happy to see Larry and was finally able to meet her husband, but she was surprised to see her ex-husband, Luke (Callum Turner) who died in the Korean war. Luke has been waiting for Joan's 67 years to be with him.

Joan started the dilemma between choosing his first love or the love he had with him for life. This film also stars Da'Vine Joy Randolph, John Early, and Olga Merediz.

The film Eternity will also be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting December 3.
