JAKARTA - Ji Chang Wook will compete with Japanese actor Imada Mio in the latest series. They will meet in the Merry Berry Love series which is a collaboration between South Korea and Japan.

Produced by CJ ENM, the drama was announced in Disney Showcase 2025 which took place in Hong Kong on Thursday, November 13.

Set on an island in Japan, Merry Berry Love tells of a Korean planner named Lee Yoo Bin and a Japanese farmer named Shirahama Karin.

Ji Chang Wook will play Lee Yoo Bin, a planner whose career was destroyed until he met a woman on an island. Imada Mio plays Shirahama Karin, a strawberries farmer who runs into Yoo Bin.

This drama is directed by Kim Soo Jung and the script was done by Lee Jae Yoon who worked on Divorce Insurance.

This drama is Ji Chang Wook's latest project after the release of The Manipulated series. Imada Mio last starred in Anpan's drama.
