Ivan Gunawan Expressed His Intention To Marry A Caucasian Woman From Russia

JAKARTA - Designer and presenter Ivan Gunawan openly disclosed the criteria for a potential companion to his life. In the midst of various speculations regarding his wedding plans, the man who is familiarly called Igun admits that he longs for a "bule" partner or a foreign woman.

The reason behind his desire is quite unique. According to Igun, marrying a foreign woman feels simpler because it does not involve the affairs of a complex extended family, a dynamic that often occurs in marriage in Indonesia.

"Yes, if you marry a foreigner, it's good, like not marrying a family," said Ivan Gunawan, quoted by VOI from Instagram @fyp_trans7, Tuesday, November 11.

"So you see it's like Billy (Syahputra) like that, marriage to outsiders is like not marrying his family, right. It's good, like life, it's just the two of him, it's good," he continued.

Irfan Hakim, as the host, also agreed that marriage in Indonesia often means the union of two extended families.

"Yes, because if it's a marriage with a big family, it's a big family," said Irfan.

Ivan Gunawan's desire to have a life partner of a foreign woman does not seem to be a figment.

The famous designer has even planned a special trip to Russia in the next two years, with his teenage "thinning" mission while hoping for a woman to "hold".

This plan he revealed after joking about his ability to speak Russian. As is known, Igun had an education in Moscow as a teenager.

"That's why it's planned for 2 years, the birthday will want to go to Russia, I really want to hit it hard," said Ivan Gunawan.

When asked by Irfan Hakim whether the trip was at the same time to find a mate, Igun agreed. "Look at the back, everyone knows who is stuck," he replied. "Yes bismillah."

Igun said that he had lived in Russia when he was in elementary and junior high school. "It's funny, right? Middle school I'm in Russia, elementary, junior high school," he recalled.
