JAKARTA The meeting with Palestinian refugees in Jordan left a deep impression on Nabilah Ayu. He admitted that he was 'slaped' and experienced major changes in his way of thinking and life goals after witnessing firsthand the firmness and faith of the victims of the conflict.
"Really met them, it changed my mindset, really. Changed the purpose of my life again," said Nabilah in the South Jakarta area, Monday, November 10.
He added that this experience made him reflect and learn to be more grateful for the life he lived.
"It's really a reminder for me to be more grateful for all the blessings of Allah," he continued.
The most touching thing about the Prophet is how Palestinian refugees continue to show a strong faith even though they have lost many things in their lives.
They are still tauhid to Allah. And that's what makes me feel really slapped. Like, I should be more grateful, I should be able to be even more enthusiastic in worship," he said.
This experience also made the Prophet appreciate more time with his family, especially his parents.
"When I saw them, there was a small child who said his mother was martyred, I immediately thought about my papa mama," he said with teary eyes.

After seeing firsthand the condition of the refugees, Nabilah is now increasingly vocal in voicing his support for the Palestinian people. He invited the Indonesian people to be moved, not only by donating, but also through voice and public awareness.

"I also opened a donation link with friends from the Archipelago Volunteers, who knows if anyone wants to give charity," he said.
In closing, Nabilah expressed her hope that one day she could visit Gaza directly to distribute aid privately.
