JAKARTA - Taylor Swift is again stealing attention. Boots and bags are a collection of designer Stella McCartney who is known for his commitment to environmentally friendly fashion and free of cruelty to animals.

Swift combines snake motif booths for around US$1,775 or Rp29 million in matching bags for US$975 or Rp16 million.

He balances it with a classic black chilicoat and a mini-lipit skirt. This creates an elegant appearance but still has character.

Stella McCartney uses YATAY M, a fungal-based vegan alternative ingredient, as a substitute for native skin. This material has a texture and appearance resembling animal skin, but is completely crude-free.

"Every year, more than 500 thousand pythons are killed only for the fashion industry in Southeast Asia," Stella McCartney said in an official statement, quoted from the Page Six page on Saturday, November 8, 2025.

"The use of YATAY M allows us to create quality materials without hurting animals," he added.

Taylor Swift herself has long been a supporter of the Stella McCartney brand. The two of them have collaborated in a special collection in 2019 to celebrate the release of the album Lover.

In the live broadcast when introducing the collaboration, Swift gave her sincere praise to the designer.

I respect what they make, and how to make it. There are so many imaginations, romances, and characters in each design," Swift said.

The cooperation between the two continues until the Evermore album shoot in 2020. Stella said their creative relationship flowed very naturally.

"With Taylor, everything just happens. My work seems to blend with the emotions conveyed through his music." said Stella McCartney.
