JAKARTA - Actress Poppy Sovia shared an unpleasant experience that sparked her anger.

Through a video of his heart out on his Instagram account, he expressed his frustration after being a victim of verbal abuse by a group of men in a minimarket rest area.

In the video, Poppy tells of the incident that happened after she was shopping. An unknown group of men allegedly made fun of her dress style.

There was a group of men, I don't know, where did the men come from. Indeed, I really like to dress like this. So what, you know?! " said Poppy, quoted by VOI from her personal Instagram account, Thursday, October 30.

Poppy stated that she couldn't understand the attitude of the perpetrators who felt they had the right to verbally harass women. He strongly rejects the assumption that a woman's dress can be justification for harassment.

"I can't stop thinking about the responses of people who, especially men, mean making ridicule sounds. Making voices that women have the right to be verbally abused," he continued.

The peak of his emotions comes as Poppy challenges the perpetrators to imagine if similar abuse befell their own family members.

You think, if you have your own sister or mother, or maybe your closest family, a woman, you are willing to digitize, n**r?! Think!' he exclaimed.

At the end of the video, Poppy gave a firm warning: if a similar incident is repeated, she will not hesitate to fight physically to teach the perpetrator a lesson.

"If I do, once again find people like that, I will not hesitate to ask anything that is in my hands, let me learn," he concluded.
