JAKARTA Different from the tense atmosphere that usually envelopes the moment of the verdict hearing, actress Nikita Mirzani actually looks cheerful and full of enthusiasm when she arrives at the South Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 28.

In the trial that will determine his fate related to cases of alleged extortion and money laundering (TPPU), Nikita repeatedly emphasized that she was happy.

"Happy, happy, happy," said Nikita with a smile, when asked by the media about her feelings ahead of the reading of the judge's decision.

This relaxed and optimistic attitude is a signal that Nikita is ready to face whatever the results of the long trial she has undergone. He admitted that he did not make special preparations other than praying and surrendering to the judge's decision.

"There is no preparation," he said briefly.

"Pray for me, yes," he added as he stepped into the courtroom.

Interestingly, Nikita's trial coincided with Youth Pledge Day. He also hopes that the historic momentum will bring positive energy and justice in his legal process.

"After the Youth Pledge Day, yes. Hopefully justice will still be in the South Jakarta District Court," hoped Nikita.

In a trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday, October 9, the Public Prosecutor stated that Nikita Mirzani was legally and convincingly proven guilty of all charges directed at him. In addition to imprisonment, the prosecutor also demanded that Nikita be fined in large quantities.

"Therefore, with a prison sentence of 11 years and a fine of Rp. 2 billion, provided that if the fine is not paid, it will be replaced with imprisonment for 6 months," said the Public Prosecutor in the courtroom.

The prosecutor also requested that Nikita Mirzani remain detained during the legal process.

"Ordered the defendant to remain detained," added the prosecutor.

Nikita Mirzani was sentenced to 4 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion, provided that if the fine was not paid, it was replaced with imprisonment for 3 months.
