JAKARTA - Laskar Pelangi film is one of the phenomenal works in Indonesia. Bagging 4.6 million viewers, the film, which was adapted from the book Laskar Pelangi, written by Andrea Hirata, entered the box office ranks. The screenplay was written by Salman Aristo who also wrote the script for the film Ayat-Ayat Cinta assisted by Riri Riza and Mira Lesmana. The role of Muslim women in Laskar Pelangi, sparked the name Cut Mini.

As a teacher at SD Muhammadiyah Gantong, Cut Mini is required to duplicate the spirit of a character that really exists and is still alive.

"My children in Laskar Pelangi really saw me as a teacher. Even though I was just someone who was playing a teacher at that time. I fell in love with a Muslimah," she said.

Cut Mini admitted that he was very interested in the film Laskar Pelangi and asked Riri to really consider his acting. "I was the person who never asked about the results of the casting. But in Laskar Pelangi I was curious. I asked to be cast, after casting I was not contacted, asked, I was afraid my cellphone was damaged so I did not order," he recalled.

Other roles besides Laskar Pelangi, although only a minor role, Cut Mini never underestimated them. "I enjoyed my role, which was only two scenes in the Possessive film. Yesterday, maybe as a mother, I had to arrange my heart to face the reality that happened in the film. As soon as I got the two scenes that Edwin worked on in the Possessive film I also fell in love. it can make high emotions and furious, it can, "he said.

It's different from Cut Mini's experience in the film Athirah, which led her to become the Best Female Lead in FFI 2016. "As soon as I played Athirah, my emotions were suppressed. My anger was eliminated. There was only a lot, a lot of hatred, a lot of sincerity," she explained.

The role of parents in the film Dua Lines Biru is also a lesson for him. "It's hard for me to say which role I like. I fall in love with the roles I play. So I can't choose which one, because I like what I do," said Cut Mini.
