Ahead Of The Court Of Claims, Nikita Mirzani's Party Believes His Client Must Be Free

JAKARTA - Ahead of the agenda of the trial for the alleged threats and money laundering (TPPU) case reported by Reza Gladys, Nikita Mirzani's party showed very high optimism.

His legal team, Usman Lawala, confidently stated that his client must be acquitted of all charges.

According to Usman, this belief was based on a series of facts revealed during the trial, including from the testimony of witnesses, experts, to the confession of the victim himself.

"We, as a legal advisory team in this criminal case, have great confidence that then Nikita must be released," said Usman Lawala d of the South Jakarta District Court, Wednesday, October 8.

"All of these series of legal processes have occurred, until we reach the stage of the conclusion that Nikita must be free," he continued.

Regarding the readiness to face the trial, he emphasized that Nikita was very ready to face any demands from the prosecutor because she felt innocent.

"Nikita has been facing this process from the start, she is very ready, yes. Remember, media friends, yes, Nikita is very ready because Nikita feels that she has never committed any alleged criminal acts alleged," he said.

Whatever the outcome of the lawsuit that will be read out tomorrow, Nikita Mirzani said he would continue to fight legally.

"We are fighting, I see. The opponent is against legally," he concluded.

Previously, Nikita Mirzani was charged with violating Article 45 paragraph (10) letter a Jo. Article 27B paragraph (2) of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions as amended lastly by Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2024 concerning the Second Amendment to Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.

Then, Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2010 concerning the Prevention and Eradication of the Crime of Money Laundering Jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) of the 1st Criminal Code.
