Chikita Meidy Firmly Rejects Indra Adhitya's Recognition Of Mahar And Rp938 Million House Money

TIGARAKSA - The divorce trial for Chikita Meidy and her husband, Indra Adhitya, was again held at the Tigaraksa Religious Court. In this trial, Chikita Meidy firmly rejected Indra's lawsuit regarding the return of the dowry.

This was conveyed by a friend of Chikita Meidy, Yassirni who accompanied and explained that the rejection had been submitted to the panel of judges.

"So we are also here to provide a letter of rejection from the defendant's recognition, yes. So the letter has been distributed all of them, it has been given to the Panel of Judges, yes, that we reject all unreasonable demands and are not legally based, yes," said Yassirni, a friend of Chikita Meidy at the Trigaraksa Religious Court, Tuesday, October 7.

Not without reason, the rejection of Indra's dowry lawsuit is based on the argument that Chikita considers not in accordance with Islamic marriage law.

"Well, here we ask what the argument is, right, regarding the dowry already, it's really ridiculous," added Yassirni.

Not to mention, when asked for evidence that could support his dowry lawsuit, Indra only provided proof of ID cards to family cards (KK), which Chikita considered administrative evidence.

"And finally today is from the judge's agenda, which is to provide evidence from the defendant because they asked for a dowry. So where is the proof? What, what can be used as evidence to strengthen the statement of their recognition letter," said Yassirni.

"(Photo) codet-codet, proof of the initial deposit of the house down payment. Proof of depositing the mortgage," said Chikita Meidy.

Not only that, Indra not only provided evidence that was not in accordance with the lawsuit but also could not present witnesses to complete his dowry lawsuit.

"The witness was also asked, but could not succeed in giving witnesses or bringing witnesses, yes, presenting witnesses, could not present witnesses," explained Yassirni.

Therefore, Chikita Meidy hopes that Indra Adhitya's lawsuit about the dowry can be rejected by the panel of judges.

"So there is no such thing, finally it was concluded that after the judge asked for evidence, evidence was given, which seems to be evidence, we don't know, yes, it can be used as a reference or not. I don't think so, in our opinion, not because the evidence is just photos that have passed and also cannot present witnesses. This should have been decided," concluded Yassirni.

Previously, Chikita Meidy was demanded to return her husband, Indra Adhitya, to return the dowry and Rp938 million in house fees consisting of a down payment (DP) of Rp410 million and a house installment that had been paid Rp528 million.

Indra filed the lawsuit at their follow-up divorce trial at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, yesterday and was delivered directly by Chikita after the trial.

"So I was told to pay Indra Rp938 million, my friends," said Chikita Meidy.

"When he paid for the house, he asked me for help to be paid for by the house, which means I deposited it into his account, it means that it was my money. Then I was told to return it to him," continued Chikita.
