Maria Theodore's Heavy Challenges Play Pelakor In The Prohibited Network Series

JAKARTA - Maria Theodore felt challenged when she received an offer as a cast on the Vidio Original Series of Prohibited Networks. Here he plays the character of Gina, a teenager who is trapped in a forbidden relationship.

In a press conference held last week, Maria admitted that this was a bold step that she took. He admitted that this character made him get out of his comfort zone.

"Gina has a character that serves. She is not only an actor who suddenly comes to the house to destroy people's households. But she does have inner wounds that are too deep and quite sick," he explained to the media crew in the Central Jakarta area, September 25.

For him, the ranks of characters in this series have their own complexity. The drama of romance and family is a complicated conflict in the Forbidden Network universe, so viewers will be faced with diverse perspectives from each character.

"It's not an affair that contains a bad one, it's a good one, it's not like that. Every character has their own layer, it's their own storyline, there's a very deep background. So it's not entirely about intimate scenes," he added.

Through this role, he wants to invite the audience to empathize with someone who has been labeled ugly from the start. But that doesn't mean he justifies the affair, but gives another picture in a love story that shouldn't be.

In the Prohibited Network series, Maria Theodore is side by side with two more senior actors, namely Marshanda (Syafa) and Dimas Anggara (Rangga). The conflict is not only about the household of the two of them, but also with Kiesha Alvaro (Fajar) and his family who are not intact.

The series directed by John de Rantau and Anngling Sagaran will be present in 10 episodes. Ready to stir up the audience's emotions, their story will come every Thursday starting October 2.
