Ariyo Wahab Nervous Scene A Little Long Dialogue At Fate Exchange

JAKARTA - Ariyo Wahab tried something new through his role in the film Exchange Fate directed by Mouly Surya. Although he believes that the portion of his role is small, he feels that there are challenges that make his role different from other roles.

"Frankly, when I was offered to exchange this fate with a cast of this much and stop stopping, I'm sure I'll be a little bit of a scene," said Ariyo Wahab at a press conference in South Jakarta on Thursday, September 25.

Sure enough, there are not many scenes of Ariyo Wahab acting as Purwanto, but the challenges are in the long dialogue in every scene.

"Scene is not much but the dialogue is very long. Maybe from all the characters, I'm just the only one who can't improvise because there are techniques," said the personal The Dance Company.

The long process was also felt by producer Chand Parwez along with director Mouly Surya who said this project had been discussed since seven years ago.

"We were given the opportunity from 6-7 years ago and finally I felt this is a work that only a Mouly could make. Exchange Fate is a very interesting story, it takes big ambition to make complexity integrated into something interesting," said Chand Parwez.

To Exchange Fate, the City War was already planned before Trigger Warning, so this is a project that has been in the works for a long time. I always feel the experience of making films in America is like a doctoral degree," added Mouly Surya.

The film Exchange Fate will be shown in Indonesian cinemas starting October 2, 2025.
