JAKARTA - Kim Kardashian turns out to have high discipline on sports. At the age of 44, this reality show star admits to exercising for an hour and a half every day to keep his body in shape.

In an interview with Vogue, Kim explained that his sporting routine focuses more on weightlifting exercises.

"I prefer to lift the burden, so I often practice with weights," he said, quoted from the Page Six page.

"I did have a back problem, so I had to adjust the training a little. But I still have a lot of training for the lower part of the body to keep it tight, then a few days for the upper part of the body," he added.

Kim usually chooses one body part to focus on each practice. In addition, he also added stretching, a little cardio and pilates.

"I like pilates. If I don't practice pilates at least once a week, I usually feel sad. I need that stretch," he explained.

As the mother of four children, Kim works out more often in the morning. But he admits he has a habit that might make his coach memorable.

"I'm the type of person who likes to disturb my own training because I often check cell phones and reply to messages during sports," he said with a laugh

Regarding music, Kim admitted that he was more enthusiastic about listening to Justin Bieber's song during sports. Kim emphasized that sports such as zumba or hot yoga are not for him.

"I've tried hot yoga once, but instead fell asleep. Because the atmosphere makes me relax, lie down, keep my eyes closed. I can sleep anywhere, so if I'm given a relaxed position, I'll definitely fall asleep right away," he explained.

Currently, Kim is also busy promoting his newest collection, NikeSkims, the result of a collaboration with Nike which will be released on September 26.

On his personal Instagram account, he shared a video of himself with several famous athletes such as Serena Williams, Sha'Carri Richardson, Jordan Chiles, and Chloe Kim who also appeared wearing the collection.

"I really like sports. It's like therapy for you." Kim concluded.
